My Favorite FREE Design Tools for Online Marketing

Who doesn’t love FREE, useful stuff? I wanted to share a few of my favorite FREE tools that are great for online marketing, Whether you are a small business owners, run your own blog, or even just a high schooler trying to add some pizzazz to a school project,¬†you may not be able to afford the hefty prices of design software or stock photos.

So here is a list of great FREE design tools you can benefit from:

  1. Pexels – for free stock photos. Just make sure you note the licensing requirements as some photographers want you to give them credit for photos while others are free to use without credit.
  2. Pixlr Editor Web App – it’s kind of like a free online version of Photoshop. Definitely not as feature rich and powerful as Photoshop, but it can help with photo editing in a similar fashion
  3. Creative Market’s Free Monday Goods – every Monday, Creative Market puts 6 design items up for free on their website. I sign up for the emails so I am notified every Monday and can see what items are free. They often include fonts, templates, and even art or watercolor designs. It’s pretty cool and they often have things that I will save for later.
  4. Google Analytics – OK, so this isn’t really a design tool, BUT Google is great with offering free tools. Google Analytics helps you keep track of your website statistics, like how many visitors came to your site, which pages were viewed etc. If you have a website, you should really make sure you add Google Analytics, even if you don’t look at it much. You’ll end up having a lot of data about your website that you can look back at later on.

That’s all for now, but I plan to add to this list as things come up. What about you? Do you have any favorite free tools that you’ve been using?
